NIP withdraw from FRAG York

Dust2.us has confirmed that Ninjas in Pyjamas have withdrawn from the upcoming FRAG York LAN, with the team informing FRAG of their intention to withdraw yesterday. The team's exit from the Syracuse, New York event event comes as are the European squad have at least three events in Europe over the course of the next two months.

Of those events, BLAST Open Spring 2026 likely played the largest role in NIP's decision to withdraw from FRAG York, as the playoffs for the Rotterdam event are on the same weekend as FRAG York. Due to the team withdrawing well before the FRAG roster lock, which goes into effect 17 days before an event, they were able to withdraw without being forced to forfeit matches and lose VRS points.

NIP are the third team to withdraw from FRAG York, joining Rave and Wildcard from dropping out of the event due to scheduling issues or a lack of organizational support in Rave's case.
