FRAG York expands to 48 teams!

FRAG have today announced plans to expand their Syracuse, New York event, FRAG York, to 48 teams following the event selling out on January 15th! The decision to expand the event to 48 teams comes after FRAG confirmed FRAG York would expand to a four day event to accommodate the strong turnout and interest from teams in North America and abroad.

FRAG York is set to run from March 26th to Match 28th and will be one of the final LAN events before the April VRS update that will be used to determine invites to IEM Cologne 2026. With this in mind, the final eight spots in the event are expected to sell out quickly especially as there are relatively few European teams in the event at the moment compared to FRAG Blocktober 2025. That event served as as de-facto qualifier for the PGL Budapest Major, with Fnatic claiming the final spot in the Budapest Major after besting 9INE in the finals.
