Dust2.us welcomes two new writers: Gadj and KatyRatio!
After a competitive application process that saw a large number of qualified talent apply to join our team, Dust2.us is excited to announce two new Junior Writers: Nathaniel "Gadj" Singer and Katy "KatyRatio" Rigol! The duo have been working for Dust2.us for around two weeks and we are thrilled to have them join our press room!
To help you get to know our new writers, they have both written short bios detailing their previous and current experience in esports:
Katy "KatyRatio" Rigol
KatyRatio joins the Dust2.us team after previously working with Complexity as a Social Media Specialist and is currently a Social Media Manager for FRAG and Five Fears on top of her work with Dust2.us.
I started out in esports with aspirations of becoming a journalist, but esports had other plans. As Social Media Specialist for Complexity, I was privileged to make Counter-Strike tweets for a living, and in discovering my passion for social media, I also discovered my passion for NA CS. Now I volunteer my memeing talents to FRAG, covering teams’ pursuits of VRS points while I put my writing skills to use here at Dust2.us.
Nathaniel "Gadj" Singer
Gadj's previous esports experience includes time as a Collegiate Outreach Coordinator with Juked, a Freelance Writer position at Dignitas, and time as President of Esports at the University of Minnesota.
My first esports experience came in college, where I started as the junior varsity Counter-Strike coach and eventually climbed to president of esports. Wanting to pursue esports outside the club, I wrote articles on my own before becoming a writer for Team Dignitas. While I enjoyed it, I mostly wrote game guides and I wanted to focus on esports. I went back to writing articles on my own doing things like tournament previews and talent scouting before getting the opportunity here at Dust2.us to cover NA CS.
All of us at Dust2.us are excited to have them on our team and to see how they will grow and develop as journalists throughout 2026!
