Syracuse Esports announces Orange Jam collegiate tournament featuring seven top collegiate teams

This will be the third Orange Jam.

Orange Jam is returning to Syracuse, New York and Syracuse University, with seven of the top-20 university teams according to College Counter’s rankings in attendance.

Among the squads is third-ranked Carnegie Mellon, the defending champions from Orange Jam 2025.

Orange Jam will take place on January 31st and February 1st, with the eight teams beginning in two groups, playing double round-robin best-of-one group stage. The group stage will serve as seeding for the single-elimination best-of-three playoff bracket, with all eight teams advancing from the groups.

In an article on their website, College Counter co-founder and Syracuse Esports Club President Hayden "Kimmer-" Kim had this to say regarding the tournament:

I am happy I can provide this opportunity for the East Coast schools. LAN can help skyrocket some squads which may not be on everyone's radar.

I hope it is a smooth event for all of our competitors.

Here are the eight teams that will be competing at Orange Jam starting on January 31st.
