
Coach ash is headed elsewhere in 2026

ash announces plans to leave GamerLegion: "I've told them I would like to leave the organization this month"
ash has been with GamerLegion since 2020.
During the most recent episode of HLTV Confirmed, GamerLegion coach Ashley "ash" Battye revealed he's looking for opportunities with different organizations. After over five years with GamerLegion, ash says, "this is the time for me to kind of move on."

However, he ended up stepping down from the role late last year, explaining via YouTube video that burnout had been taking a toll on his mental health.
Since 2020, ash has led GamerLegion to five majors, including a second-place finish at the BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023. More recently, the team qualified for IEM Kraków by placing third at FRAG Miami.
