BOSS launch fundraiser to support team's road to the IEM Cologne Major
Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz has launched a fundraiser on GoFundMe, requesting funds from the community to support BOSS as they aim to attend more LAN events and hopefully qualify to IEM Cologne 2026. The ambitious plea for help aims to raise $15,000 as 23rd in the Americas in the VRS and would need to make significant gains in the next two months to qualify for an invite.
"As a team without an organization, it's very difficult financially for us to train and compete full-time and still be present at important local LANs to accumulate VRS points. We started a 'gofundme' to ask the community for help to raise funds that will be used for travel expenses and bootcamps that will help maintain the project," stanislaw said on GoFundMe.
Fundraisers are nothing new for NA teams, with squads like Bravado, Squirtle Squad, and Party Astronauts being some of the names over the years that have asked for community support.
The community's reaction to the fundraiser has been relatively mixed on X, with many questioning the team's need for the money and the lack, discussed the team's chances of making the major, and the lack of any content in return for donations, while offers have offered up verbal support for the fundraiser.
At the time of publication, BOSS have raised $855 towards their goal of $15k.
