Breaking: BOSS unveil stanislaw, FaNg as ben1337 transitions to coaching

BOSS have unveiled their new roster for the 2026 season, adding Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Justin "FaNg" Coakley while parting ways with Matthew "d4rty" Paplawskas. Additionally, Ben "ben1337" Smith has stepped into a coaching role, making way for stanislaw to take over as the team's IGL.

The move marks a significant change in BOSS as ben1337 has served as the team's skipper since July when he replaced Wyatt "snav" Phillippi following his departure to Getting Info. His time as BOSS' leader was a generally mixed period for the orgless team, with BOSS claiming a number of top-four finishes online while falling just shy of consistently besting the salaried teams in North America.

The addition of stanislaw is an exciting premise as he is one of North America's most experienced leaders and should also provide a firepower boost to the squad.

The other new addition, FaNg, is a BOSS alumnus that represented the team briefly in 2024 before moving to Party Astronauts. He has been out of action since leaving Getting Info in June, but is another experienced name the squad should be able to lean on as they aim to climb the VRS in 2026.

He replaces d4rty in the squad with it appearing that he has been cut in favor of the Canadian.

This new BOSS roster will debut this weekend at fl0m's Mythical LAN.

Update: Dust2.us has confirmed with stanislaw that he is a free agent, having been released from Wildcard on January 1st.
