Peeping is the only player to retain his spot in the new Wildcard project

Official: Wildcard unveil new lineup

Only Peeping remains from the previous squad.

Wildcard have announced their new roster for 2026, with the only constant from their most recent lineup being Jason "Peeping" Cornwell.

Two of the new squad, Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak and Simon "sSen" Solnæs Iversen, come from the Wildcard Academy team, while Ethan "reck" Serrano and Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney are completely new additions to the organization.

This isn't the first time that Wildcard has looked to their Academy for reinforcements, as AWPer Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz was called up when Love "phzy" Smidebrant was sent on loan to 9INE the first time in July of last year. In-game leader Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz was also benched at this time, signaling the beginning of the end for Wildcard's successful period, which saw them qualify for both the Perfect World Shanghai Major and the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

phzy and stanislaw were called back into the lineup just months later, but it was clear that Wildcard didn't have a vision of where to take the roster in the future. This time, Wildcard transfer listed the whole roster, looking to rebuild from the floor up with James "JamezIRL" Macaulay as coach.

Peeping remains with the NA organization as a player who they believe has promising potential, with the aforementioned Wildcard Academy supplying both mhL and sSen to the roster. mhL was a hot prospect on AGO back in 2020 while sSen made his name known while on Astralis Talent. reck is the only player with Major experience on the team as he was a part of M80's first Major qualification at BLAST.tv Austin. CLASIA is an NA veteran who has previously plied his trade for teams like Nouns and Strife, but this will be his first crack at the international stage.

Wildcard made their debut today with a 2-0 win at FRAG Miami 2 v. TeXaSs^ Outlaws in which Wildcard lost just one round in the best-of-three. Their next match comes against Sharks, who will certainly provide a tougher test to the new roster.

Here is how Wildcard are now lining up:

  • United States Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell

  • United States Ethan "reck" Serrano

  • United States Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney

  • Denmark Simon "sSen" Solnæs Iversen

  • Miłosz "mhL" Knasiak

  • United States James "JamezIRL" Macaulay (Coach)
