Marsborne sign up for Argentine LAN featuring Imperial, Fluxo W7M

On January 15th, Marsborne claimed one of the last spots in the Argentine FiReSPORTS Conter Cup #1 LAN. The $20,000 event is the first in a series of six played over the course of 2026, where the winners of each will qualify for a final, unannounced event. Marsborne are the sole team from outside of South America to sign up for the event.

The event marks Marsborne's third LAN event of the year, and the first outside of the United States, as they previously attended FRAG Miami 2 and fl0m's Mythical LAN in January. The event is stacked with teams ranked just above Marsborne in the Valve Regional Standings (VRS), meaning it could be extremely lucrative for the team as they hunt for a spot in the IEM Cologne 2026 Major.
