Wildcard top the third Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #6 Open Qualifier

On January 17th, Wildcard secured their spot in the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #6 powered by INUI, beating Dark Knight, Chicken Coop, ClayMakers Reborn, and SKDC in the open qualifier. The team triumphed in the qualifier despite needing to field James "JamezIRL" Macaulay in place of Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney due to the latter being away at the wedding this weekend.

Wildcard started with a breezy 13-1 win over Dark Knight, who recently parted ways with Ethan "Jester" Comer. They followed that up a comfortable 13-6 win over Chicken Coop to make the top four. From there, a stellar performance by Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell on Mirage helped sweep aside ClayMakers Reborn to reach the qualifying best of three.

They faced SKDC in the final match that went about as smooth as the rest of the qualifier. A 13-4 win on Nuke put them firmly in the driver's seat going into Mirage, where they won 13-6 to close the series 2-0 and qualify for the event.
