What do you think were the keys to win on Nuke over Rave?
We have a pretty good picture of how they play. There's not too many teams in NA, so we get to play them a lot. Usually we get a pretty good time outside against them and a lot of map control. We get to do what we want and that makes it pretty easy for us.
Did you feel pretty confident on the veto coming in?
They've been changing up their map pick against us quite a bit. We've been winning their map pick almost every time and then either winning or losing ours depending on the series. We've gotten crushed on Mirage a little bit recently, but it was not other teams outplaying us. It was just us not doing what we talked about, so I just knew that if we cleaned up what we're supposed to do, it would it would work out.
Do you think having SEMPHIS behind you guys to keep you on track and be another voice on the server helped you follow the gameplan?
Yeah, he's an extra voice in between maps. If we're having different ideas on what we should do to solve the problems, he'll help step in and reaffirm what I'm saying or what someone else is saying, and it makes us get on the same page better.
How did you feel you guys did in Miami?
Miami was pretty good. We played versus NRG and M80 and lost 2-1 both times. We won Mirage versus both of them and lost the other two maps. I think the scores weren't as close as they could be. We started off pretty good on some of those maps and had a chance. The Trains we got blown out, but the Dust 2 and Ancient versus M80 and NRG, I think we had a good chance in. We're losing to ourselves and messing up. They're good teams, so they're going to punish us if we don't do everything perfectly, and that's what happened.
What do you think of your longtime teammate Xotic's retirement?
We wanted to play together always, and we love playing with each other. He wanted to give going pro again a chance, traveling and playing tier one CS. He enjoyed it. He loves the game. That's just not his first choice of a career in life. I guess he doesn't enjoy all the traveling, but he loves the game. He loves playing CS, all his teammates, and competing. He wants to win the very highest level.

Those RMRs were rough, but they were fun. We had a few close ones. Obviously I wish we had the RMR system still, but the VRS is all right. We'll try to go to every single LAN we can. Our shots are pretty good as long as we keep going to every LAN, playing well, and beating all the teams we're supposed to beat. If we get an upset here or there, then that'll help us a lot. Our chances are pretty good.
How does it feel to be at one of these events with a crowd cheering your name?
It's cool. They're all trying to support NA and they're rooting for every NA team. It seems like they're rooting for everyone. It's fun. It's cool. At ESL Challenger Jönköping, there was a bit of a crowd there as well. Kind of like this, maybe a little bit bigger. That was cool, but it's like one in NA.
What are the keys to success in beating M80 tomorrow and making your way to the finals?
They're still a new team with JBA, and they don't have probably everything drilled perfectly either, just like us. So, we just got to take advantage of that and do it. If we do the stuff that we've talked about and the stuff that we're supposed to do properly, then we'll have a pretty good chance.
How do you feel about your career trajectory as an IGL since you made that transition?
At the beginning when I first started on Nouns, when cynic was still on my team, he was helping me a lot. He was doing a lot of mid-rounding with me and giving me ideas if I didn't always have one, because I was just starting out, and I was not very good at it. I have a good picture of the game and I'm a pretty smart player. Getting my ideas across to everyone and trying to micro people while trying to also play and perform is obviously a challenge, and I'm getting a lot better at it overall over time.
Voca have been eliminated from the playoffs of fl0m's Mythical LAN 0-2 by M80.
