Marsborne claim final playoffs spot at fl0m's Mythical LAN over BOSS

Marsborne have locked down the final playoffs spot here at fl0m's Mythical LAN, following a 2-0 over the new-look BOSS lineup. With their victory, Marsborne have claimed a spot alongside NRG, M80, and Voca as the four teams fight for the $12,500 here in Las Vegas.

The team's path to playoffs came via a second win over BOSS, which went largely the same way as their first bout in Vegas. Nuke started with Marsborne securing an 8-4 lead on their CT-side before switching sides. In the second half, BOSS found the first two rounds in a row, however once Marsborne's economy came on line they were able to win the next five rounds to win the map outright.

On Inferno, Marsborne got off to a 6-0 start on their T-side, which allowed them to take the half 7-5 despite a concentrated effort from BOSS to even things up. The second half of Inferno was far more competitive, however it saw Marsborne quickly work their way up to a 12-6 lead as BOSS struggled to find an answer to their CT-side. They seemingly found an answer towards the end of the map by winning three rounds in a row, however, it was too little too late as a final round by Marsborne granted the team the 13-6 win they needed to close out the series.
