M80 cruise to fl0m's Mythical LAN playoffs with 2-0 win over BOSS
M80 have advanced into playoffs at fl0m's Mythical LAN via a 2-0 win over BOSS. The Comprehensive victory over Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and co. follows a win over regain yesterday and sets M80 on a collision course with NRG should both teams make the finals.
The series started with M80 claiming a leading position on Train, with the squad starting their CT-side up 6-1 before closing out the half 9-3. From there, despite BOSS starting the second half with three rounds, M80 were quickly able to close Train out by winning the next four rounds as recent addition Josh "JBa" Barutt played a starring role with 22 kills and a 1.83 rating.
On Ancient, M80 continued their winning way with a T-side pistol round win that grew into a 5-1 lead. From there, M80 kept BOSS at arm's length to win the half 8-4. After switching sides, M80 were the first to find double digits at 11-5 and despite the majority of rounds from here on out going the way of BOSS, the gap was too big to close as M80 locked down Ancient 13-9.
