Official: 100 Thieves unveil poiii

100 Thieves have officially announced the acquisition of Alex "poiii" Nyholm Sundgren from Alliance today, seeing the 19-year-old rifler become the first player to join the roster since Håvard "⁠rain⁠" Nygaard was announced in November.

poiii's addition was first reported on by HLTV and Fragbite in late December as the 100 Thieves organization pivoted away from already existing VRS cores to a completely bespoke roster.

poiii joins 100 Thieves after being touted as a hot prospect in the Swedish scene. His previous teams include EYEBALLERS and Alliance, with poiii posting a 1.12 rating over 298 maps in 2025 with the latter team.

Under the leadership of rain, 100 Thieves will look to develop poiii into Sweden's next superstar while he is expected to ply his trade in the rifling pack alongside SAW's André "Ag1l" Gil and ECSTATIC's William "sirah" Kjærsgaard.
