phzy bought out of contract, departs 9INE

Love "⁠phzy⁠" Smidebrant has been bought out of his 9INE contract, ending his second period in the team less than a full month after it started.

phzy had previously played with 9INE from July to September 2025 while on loan from Wildcard. The NA side cancelled the AWPER's loan to bring him back into the fold and try to make a push for the StarLadder Budapest Major. Wildcard benched their whole team after falling short of the Major, intending to start a new project from the ground up.

9INE removed phzy after the Swede played just 23 maps during his second stretch on the international roster, during which the AWPer averaged a 1.00 rating at Galaxy Battle 2025 Phase 5, CCT Season 3 Europe Series 12, and DraculaN Season 4.

After phzy's removal, 9INE look like this:
