Mavrek part ways with Jachro and co.

On December 29th, Mavrek announced the departure of their Counter-Strike 2 lineup, seeing James "Jachro" Brooks and co. leave after four months under the organization. Mavrek initially signed the ESEA Main squad back in mid-August as part of their entry into the Counter-Strike 2 scene.

During their time under Mavrek, Jachro's squad underwent a number of roster changes while competing in ESEA Main and various other online cups. Despite this changes, they failed to make into ESEA Advanced by the end of the year, while their best LAN result was a top-eight finish at FRAG Ultra Mega Jersey.

The team's AWPer, McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison, left the lineup on December 23rd, meaning the squad will need to find a new AWPer ahead of the 2026 season.

Jachro told Dust2.us that the lineup are currently in discussions to join a new organization and hope to join them in short order.
