Mavrek pick up Cyrix and BATSPEED

On November 21st, Mavrek announced the addition of McKinley "Cyrix" Hollison and Dustin "BATSPEED" Haberstumpf to the team's ranks, seeing the duo join the ESEA Main team while Brock "brawckzz" Chase has temporarily stepped down from the starting lineup. The additions return Mavrek to full strength after Mavrek parted ways with Strone "n0xxy" Sulak on November 11th.

The addition of Cyrix sees the former Vagrants player return to action after after an extended break from competition that began in March when he stepped down from Vagrants and was replaced by Kevin "consti" Yi. The player has been battling health issues for some time which has kept him out of action for most of the 2025 season.

The other new piece on Mavrek, BATSPEED, reunites with James "Jachro" Brooks after the duo played together for a number of months on Revel. He joins the squad as brawckzz is set to take a break from competition for an extended vacation.

Mavrek make these changes after failing to make it out of ESEA Main fore a number of seasons while performing somewhat better on LAN, notably finishing top eight at Frag Ultra Mega Jersey 2025. With Cyrix they will likely hope for more firepower in the new year as the team chases a VRS rank and more opportunities.
