The MongolZ appear on the Mongolian Tonight Show
The MongolZ were recently featured on Mongolia's version of The Tonight Show, which aired as a New Year's special. The MongolZ players that appeared on the show were Ayush "mzinho" Batbold, Usukhbayar "910" Banzragch, and Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren.
While on the show, they discussed the team's cultural impact in Mongolia, their run at the BLAST.tv Austin Major, and their early time in the CS competitive scene.
Later on in the show, the trio was joined by benched teammate Azbayar "Senzu" Munkhbold, who was one of the team's most pivotal players in their run to the grand final at the BLAST.tv Major Austin.
The MongolZ drew an immense crowd at a watch party in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to watch their team play v. Vitality in the final. Unfortunately, the Mongolians fell to Vitality in three maps, ending their run at the Major just short of glory.
The team also spoke about their early days competing in Counter-Strike, with Senzu recalling a moment where an opponent was on the search for him after receiving trash talk online from the Mongolian star.
Unfortunately for mzinho, who was accompanying Senzu at the time, Senzu was faster to answer, pointing at his teammate and saying, "That is Senzu." Needless to say, the pair learned from the incident and is now much more cautionary when talking trash online.
