The event will now take place at the PGL studio in Bucharest.

PGL has announced that its Belgrade event, originally scheduled to take place from October 22nd to November 1st, 2026, has been moved to the TO's studio in Bucharest. The dates have been slightly modified as well, and the event will now run from October 24th to October 31st.

The top twelve teams in the Global VRS will be invited to the event, with four more teams coming from EU, NA, SA, and Asia closed qualifiers.

EU, NA, and SA will have their respective regions' top four VRS-ranked teams invited directly to the closed qualifier with four more teams making the closed portion from two open qualifiers. The closed qualifier will be a best-of-three double-elimination bracket with a best-of-five final. The winner of the closed qualifier will book their spot at the main event in Bucharest.

In Asia, two teams will be invited to each of the sub-region closed qualifiers in Oceania, West Asia, and East Asia. One team from each region's open qualifier will qualify for its closed qualifier. The winner of each closed qualifier will advance to the Asia Final, where the second and third VRS-ranked teams will play each other in a best-of-three, with the winner advancing to a best-of-five final v. the top-ranked team.

The open qualifiers will start on September 3rd and conclude on the 6th. The closed qualifiers will run from September 9th to September 13th.
