Buckethead wins ESEA's Next Big Caster
Donny "Buckethead" Higgins has won Next Big Caster, which was decided via a fan vote in the FACEIT Discord. ESEA put on the competition, where they invited casters to enter and commentate over ESEA League matches. The finalists for Next Big Caster were decided from 80 initial entrants. Once the final shortlist was created, voting opened to decide the winner.
With the win, Buckethead will be flown out to ESL Pro League Season 23, which will have two online stages before the final LAN stage takes place in Stockholm.
Buckethead received 27.7% of the vote, beating second-placed Anthony "AllInGaming" Ferdinando and third-placed Sophie "apples" Corizzo, who earned 15.3% and 14.8%, respectively.
Buckethead joins a list of winners that includes Mike "DarfMike" Winnick and Gustavo "Upmind" Domingues.
The next edition of ESL Pro League will begin on February 27th and run until March 15th.
