While Fnatic's CS2 team has struggled, Sky News' report suggests a healthy business has attracted investment

Media: Fnatic hires advisory company to explore offers for $100m sale of organization

The London-based organization are looking for a buyer to help expand their operations.

According to a report by Mark Kleinman of Sky News, Fnatic have reportedly hired a consultancy firm to sound out offers to partially or fully buy the British organization for a sum of $100 million (£74.7 million). The firm, Oakwell Advisory, has reportedly been enlisted to seek out interested parties in the world of sports and media who are interested in leveraging the brand to reach younger audiences.

Kleinman's reporting suggests that the London-based Fnatic have already been approached by potential buyers, with the organization's operations close to breaking even in this fiscal year. Outside of Counter-Strike 2, Fnatic hosts rosters in Apex Legends, League of Legends, and VALORANT among other titles.

A potential sale would likely see Fnatic use the funds to strengthen their operations, hopefully aiding their Counter-Strike 2 division after a number of years without a significant title in the esport.
