SkinRave defeat Pulse, advance to semi-finals of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5
SkinRave beat Pulse 2-1 in the second quarterfinal of Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5. Pulse put up an admirable performance in the first two maps, but AWPer Paytyn "junior" Johnson was too much for them in the last map.
SkinRave will now advance to the semi-finals, where they will come up against a Voca team that is yet to lose in this edition of the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series.
The series started on SkinRave's pick of Inferno, where they enjoyed a fantastic T side, holding an 8-4 lead at halftime. SkinRave quickly secured eleven rounds, but then Pulse answered back with eight in a row to put themselves on map point. SkinRave forced overtime and made the adjustments to secure a flawless overtime and win the map 16-12.
Pulse's pick was Dust2, but SkinRave were the ones that jumped out to an early 7-1 lead. Pulse were able to bring the deficit down to end the half at 7-5. A strong second half from Pulse saw them edge out SkinRave at the line to win the map 13-11.
Ancient was the junior and Maks "laxiee" Andryei show, as the duo led SkinRave to an 8-4 lead at the interval. SkinRave didn't let Pulse back in the game this time as they won the map 13-4 behind junior and laxiee's combined 47 frags.
junior was the star of the series as he put up a ludicrous 77 frags to just 41 deaths over the three-map series.
