Voca defeat S2K, advance to Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 Semi-Finals
Voca v. Straight2Killin kicked off the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 playoffs. Voca qualified for the playoffs with a 3-0 record while S2K advanced with a 3-2 record.
Voca continued their outstanding form in the playoffs with a clean 2-0 sweep of S2K. Voca have become the first team to move on from the quarter-finals.
Voca's map pick was Train, where they got off to a great start. Voca converted a 4-0 lead into a 9-3 halftime advantage, all but putting the game past S2K. Voca gave up four rounds in the second half, winning the map comfortably by a score of 13-7.
S2K picked Mirage and it was a back-and-forth battle in the first period. Voca came out better, holding a 7-5 lead after their defensive half. S2K were able to even the map at 9-9, but Voca ended things with four rounds in a row to close out the map and series 13-9.
Deni "dea" Ediev was the best player in the server as he posted 36 frags and a 1.47 rating in his side's triumph.
