HexT and M80 are closing in on a spot in Stage Three

M80 look to become first NA team in Stage Three; Round 4 matchups set

M80 are NA's best hope for a Stage Three spot at the moment.

Round Four of the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage Two is upon as NA ended today with two wins and a loss. With that in mind, M80 are tantalizingly close to securing a spot in Stage Three while both Passion UA and Liquid are facing potential elimination with a 1-2 record.

Passion UA will start the day for NA fans at 09:00AM with a showdown against fnatic. Passion UA will need to put on their game face after some disappointing results at the Major and other recent events, especially against European teams, if they want to stay alive in Budapest.

Next up, M80 will take on Imperial for a spot in Stage Three at 11:30AM. The two teams have not faced off since 2024, however M80 have looked good at the Major thus far, so there's high hopes the NA hopefuls can take down the Brazilian upstarts and ensure the NA dream stays alive in Budapest.

Finally, Liquid will play TYLOO at 02:00PM. While TYLOO played a close game against M80 today, Liquid should hopefully have an easy time besting the Chinese squad in a Bo3 especially after winning their most recent encounter at FISSURE Playground 2 in September.

The Round Four matchups are as follows:

2-1, best-of-three

  • NIP v. PARIVISION at 09:00AM

  • Brazil Imperial v. M80 at 11:30AM

  • B8 v. 3DMAX at 02:00PM

1-2, best-of-three

  • fnatic v. Passion UA World at 09:00AM

  • Aurora v. Astralis Denmark at 11:30AM

  • TYLOO v. Liquid World at 02:00PM
