M80 defeat PARIVISION to improve to 2-0 in StarLadder Budapest Stage 1
M80 had a showdown with PARIVISION in their second match after taking down B8 13-11 in their opening match. PARIVISION came into the match on an 11-match win streak and looked to continue that into their second match at the Major.
M80 showed a great face v. PARIVISION, as M80 dominated from start to finish. PARIVISION never had a chance against the North Americans.
M80 started out the game hot, taking eight of the first ten rounds to hold an 8-2 lead. PARIVISION won the final two rounds to reduce the deficit to four.
PARIVISION couldn't keep that momentum going into the second half, as M80 jumped out to a 12-5 lead early on. With seven rounds required to force overtime, PARIVISION could only muster four rounds to lose 13-9.
Mason "Lake" Sanderson was M80's star man, going 18-11 with a 1.39 rating
