NRG upset NIP in StarLadder Budapest Major debut
NRG have won their opening match at the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 1 versus Ninjas in Pyjamas on November 24th.
Earlier today, M80 also won vs. B8, so North America is currently 2-0 at the Major.
Fans were pessimist about NRG, as they're playing with Damian "daps" Steele instead of Nick "nitr0" Cannella, as the latter is on parental leave for the birth of his third child. However, daps held their own, and all the others played well.
NRG won six rounds in the T-side, five of them in a row, and only conceded one round in the defense in the second half, giving no chance whatsoever for NIP.
