M80 move past B8 in StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 1 opener
M80 have taken down B8 in the opening match of the StarLadder Budapest Major Stage 1 this morning, November 24th.
B8 chose to play this best-of-one on Mirage, but the pick didn't work for them. M80 dominated the game from the very beginning, as they put out a relentless CT-side, in which all of their players were getting kills.
They've won five rounds in a row twice, letting B8 with no room for error in the second half.
In the second half, B8 won the pistol and struck some rounds in a row, until Jadan "HexT" Postma won an important 1v2 clutch to break the streak.
The game went all the way to the final round of regulation, and M80 secured the win after their German duo won a 2v1 clutch vs. Alexey "alex666" Yarmoshchuk
