Outfit 49 top the second Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 Open Qualifier over Kiri!
Yesterday Outfit 49 qualified to the Dust2.us Eagle Masters Series #5 after topping the second Open Qualifier over Kiri. The win sees Outfit 49 return to the league after making their debut in Series #4.
The team's road to topping the six-team Open Qualifier saw them receive a bye in the quarterfinals before facing off against Radford University, where the team claimed a 13-9 on Mirage. From there Outfit 49 faced off against a Kiri roster featuring multiple stand-ins, with the latter team striking the first blow with a 13-11 win on Inferno. This was answered in turn by Outfit 49 claiming Mirage 13-8 before winning Ancient 13-10 to win the series 2-1.
