ESL Challenger League Season 50 NA Cup #4 Day 10 Recap: Marsborne defeat Voca in lower final
Marsborne v. Voca rounded out the lower bracket in ECL S50 Cup 4. Voca lost to SkinRave in the upper bracket final, while Marsborne defeated BOSS to qualify for the lower final.
Marsborne continued their run of victories in the loser's bracket, dispatching of Voca in a two-map sweep.
The series started on Voca's map pick of Train. Marsborne took eight of the first ten rounds to take control early on. Voca answered back with the final two rounds of the first half and the first four of the second to level the score at 8-8. Marsborne regained the lead from that point on and only lost one round the rest of the map to steal Voca's choice 13-9.
The match then turned to Nuke, Marsborne's pick. Marsborne mirrored their first map's success with an impressive 8-4 T side. Voca cut the deficit to one with three straight rounds to begin the first half, but that is as close as they got. Marsborne won the next five rounds to take the map 13-7 and sweep the series.
Wesley "viz" Harris was on fire in the series, posting a 33-22 K/D with a 1.42 rating to lead Marsborne to the victory.

Marsborne have now earned the chance to face SkinRave in the final of ECL S50 Cup 4, with a chance to qualify for the ECL S50 Finals. SkinRave have already earned their spot at the Finals thanks to their win in ECL Cup 3, and are playing for an automatic grand final birth v. Marsborne.
The ECL Cup 4 grand final is scheduled for tonight at 09:00PM.
