Passion struggled against the Brazilians

Passion UA knocked out of BLAST Rivals Season 2 2025 by paiN

The North Americans' run at the event has come to an end.

Passion UA faced off with paiN in the quarterfinals at BLAST Rivals Season 2. The former Complexity core had a tough time with paiN and weren't able to make either map in the 2-0 sweep particularly close.

paiN waltzed into the semifinals, continuing their good run of form at the event.

paiN's map choice was Nuke. Passion UA couldn't take advantage on the CT side, falling behind 8-4. paiN took that momentum into the second half, winning without giving up any rounds to hold serve on their map, winning 13-4.

Passion UA started Inferno well, taking an early 4-1 lead. That's where the good times would end for Passion. paiN took control from then, surrendering just three rounds over the rest of the map to win Inferno 13-7.

Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencout led from the front, putting up an impressive 1.36 rating in the sweep.
