Could stanislaw's time with Wildcard be reaching its final conclusion?

Media: Wildcard set to part ways with stanislaw

The removal of stanislaw continues the months-long tumult at Wildcard.

According to self-proclaimed esports insider Vladislav "GromovCS" Gromov, Wildcard are set to part ways with Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz, seeing the Canadian IGL out of the lineup for a second time in four months. stanislaw was previously benched on July 1st post-BLAST.tv Austin Major in a move that left many scratching their heads before returning to the starting lineup on July 26th.

The rumored departure of stanislaw follows the departure of Wildcard's head coach, Vincent "vinS" Jozefiak, on October 20th, marking the continuation of the team's turmoil that began with a flurry of roster changes post-Major.

stanislaw's second tenure with Wildcard has proven to be rather uneventful, with the team failing to win any of the local LAN events they attended post-Major, with their best result being a third-place finish at Fragadelphia Fragville back in October. Online the team have similarly struggled, with the squad having mixed results against NA opposition including recent losses to SkinRave, Marsborne, and shockingly Zomblers.

It is currently unknown what Wildcard's plans are for their roster should stanislaw leave the team, however it is worth emphasizing that Maciej "F1KU" Miklas is on a short-term contract while Love "phzy" Smidebrant seems destined to leave the roster and return to Europe at the first opportunity.

Should stanislaw leave the team, Wildcard would be left with:

  • United States Josh "JBa" Barutt

  • Sweden Love "phzy" Smidebrant

  • United States Jaxon "Peeping" Cornwell

  • Maciej "F1KU" Miklas

  • Sweden Tim "susp" Ångström (Inactive)

  • Sebastian "fr3nd" Kuśmierz (Inactive)
