dupreeh reveals massive €30,000 per month salary during Astralis' "golden era"
In an interview with esports-news.co.uk, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen discussed his salary while on the prime Astralis team, whose era ran from 2018 until 2020.
dupreeh also mentioned that sticker money played a varying factor into how much money he took home.
dupreeh said that the highest he had ever earned from his player salary was in 2019, which was during the peak of Astralis' powers. At the time, the Dane stated that he was earning €30,000 per month, which equates to €360,000 over the course of a year.
CS:GO's most decorated player also said that stickers played a varying degree into his salary, but that he made the most money from the BLAST.tv Paris Major. This, dupreeh said, was probably because it was the last CS:GO Major, and that his Vitality side won the whole tournament.
dupreeh was a stalwart in Astralis' dynasty, winning four Majors with the Danish organization before moving to Vitality to win his aforementioned fifth Major tournament.
