Outfit 49 picks up Andrew in latest roster change

One more for the road.

Outfit 49 have made the latest change to their Counter-Strike 2 roster, seeing the team part ways with William "aelor" Africano while picking up former InControl player Andrew "Andrew" Burrell to serve as the team's new AWPer. This roster change comes less than a week after Outfit 49's previous move and sees the team part ways with aelor right after promoting the player to the starting lineup.

The rapid turnover at Outfit 49 has been part of a concerted effort to find a winning combination, with the rapid upheaval seeing Josh "sava9e" Lundquist as the sole remaining member of Outfit 49's roster from the start of the month.

Outfit 49's new IGL, Brett "brett" Rhein, told Dust2.us that this latest change was made to bring in a dedicated AWPer to free up Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto to play his preferred role, however it came at the cost of cutting aelor due to the team working to build a new VRS core around some of their more recent additions.

Outfit 49 are now:

  • United States Josh "sava9e" Lundquist

  • United States Lucas "LUKE4k" Mizumoto

  • United States Jason "s3rum" Zheng

  • United States Brett "brett" Rhein

  • United States Andrew "Andrew" Burrell

  • United States Erich "ninja" Beyer (Coach)

Outfit 49's next outing will be in ESEA Advanced Season 55 against Regin Above tonight at 09:00PM.
