Zomblers win Crossfire S2

Crossfire Season 2 has just wrapped, with Zomblers taking home the title and the $1,500 first place prize.

Zomblers didn't drop a single map on their way to the victory, winning 2-0 in all four of their playoff matches.

Zomblers met with regain in the final, who had also not yet dropped a map in the playoffs to that point.

Zomblers chose to begin the series on Dust2, but it was regain who took the early momentum. They started off the first half with an impressive 9-3 lead and looked primed to steal Zomblers' map from them.

Zomblers bounced back in the second half, taking the first map to overtime. Zomblers retained their momentum going into the extra period and went flawless in the first overtime to win 16-12 and take a 1-0 advantage in the grand final.

regain's map pick was Inferno, but Zomblers jumped out to an early lead this time. Zomblers took an 8-4 lead into the second half and didn't look back. They went on to win 13-4 and seal their victory in Crossfire S2.

Nikolaos "Pose1doNN" Antoniou was the standout player in the match for Zomblers, racking up 47 frags to just 22 deaths.
