Former Shimmer, TSM Impact star phoebe returns to action down under with Animus Victoria

The former Shimmer player is back in action.

On September 21st, Australian esports organization Animus Victoria announced the addition of former TSM Impact and Shimmer player Phoebe "phoebe" Winter to their ranks, seeing the Australian Impact player return to action after consistently playing for Shimmer at the end of 2024. Phoebe previously spent a number of months in North America under Shimmer and TSM Impact before being forced to return to Australia following TSM's decision to divest from the Impact scene.

Before joining Animus Victoria, phoebe previously competed in ESEA Oceania Open Seasons 52 and 53 and more recently attended Dfrag Season 1: Open Series #1 (think FRAG but Australian) with her new team.

Animus Victoria recently competed in ESL Challenger League Season 50 Oceania Cup #3, falling in the lower bracket after losses to Mindfreak and FURY. During her time with the mixed squad, Phoebe has posted a modest 1.04 rating over nine maps while making the transition away from Impact competition due to the region (and eventually the entire scene) losing a qualifier to the ESL Impact League Finals.

Animus Victoria consists of:

  • Australia Cooper "void" Farrell

  • Australia Jayden "foggers" Graham

  • Australia Ronan "TRIPLUS" Storay

  • Australia Kai "kairo" Brooks

  • Australia Phoebe "phoebe" Winter
