ESL Challenger League Season 50 NA Cup #3: Day 1-2 Recap
The thrilling race for Major invites is now over, but there's no slowing down the action in North America. ESL Challenger League Season 50 is still ongoing, with the first two days of Cup #3 in the books.
SkinRave Esports, regain, FULL SEND, Getting Info, Marsborne, LAG, ex-Chicken Coop and Wildcard have reached the upper bracket quarterfinals. Wildcard drew Mythic in the previous round, as the fl0m-led team had earned a bye after anything else forfeited their opening round matchup. But Wildcard comfortably took care of business against Mythic, smacking them around 13-1 on their own pick of Nuke before winning Overpass 13-6.

Overall, the first two days of the Cup featured few surprises, with Zomblers snatching a map off of Getting Info being one of the most significant events of the weekend.
The upper bracket currently features the four highest ranked North American teams from September as well as both finalists From ESEA Advanced NA Season 53. Down in the lower bracket, teams like Mythic, Take Flyte, Wanted Goons, Zomblers, and FlyQuest RED are fighting to survive.
At the very end of this double-elimination bracket is an $8,000 prize and one of two remaining spots in the four-team regional final. Wildcard notably has already claimed one of those spots, and is only competing in the current cup for the sake of earning VRS points. Should they win the bracket, the spot should be awarded to the other grand finalist.
