We threw so many rounds, lost an important 3v2, and we weren't hitting our shots. It was hard to hear footsteps as we were right behind the stage. Other than that, no excuses, we should have won.
Overall, this is your second LAN event post-Major, your second event since rejoining Getting Info. How do you feel you guys ended the season?
It wasn't really a season for me; I didn't play for two months at one point. I wasn't planning on coming back until after the end of this season. Then, some unfortunate stuff happened in the team, and I felt like it would be better not to waste my time and play because I don't have that much time left. We were good in the first two months, but recently, MarKE went to a different team, and we need a new player. We're just gonna try to qualify for the next Major, hopefully.
With the team orgless, you're not able to have SEMPHIS attend regularly. Do you think that's a big issue for you guys to not have your coach behind you to pull you out of mental ruts?
I wouldn't say it's a big issue, but it would be really nice to have him with us, too. Hopefully, we'll get him for the next season, and we'll be attending every single LAN.
You mentioned earlier that you were considering not coming back. How do you feel about your place in the Counter-Strike scene now? Is the goal still to be a pro player?
I said I wasn't planning to come back until after the season, but yeah, that's still the goal.
Do you feel like you're heading in the right direction with this return to Getting Info?
Yeah, right now I feel way better. After we lost the previous MRQ against Complexity and NRG, there was nothing else to play. It's boring to play CCT and the same things over and over again.
What's the team planning on doing after this event?
The plan is to attend every single LAN and build up VRS points for the next season.
