FURIA eliminate M80 at ESL Pro League Season 22
M80 met with FURIA in a 1-2 loser-out match in the Swiss Stage at ESL Pro League S22.
FURIA showed their class, winning both maps with little trouble over the North American side.
M80 picked Overpass, which meant that FURIA elected to start on the favored CT side. FURIA took full advantage of that, taking a dominating 9-3 lead after the first half. M80 showed some competitiveness in the second half, but it wasn't near enough, as they fell 13-8.
FURIA's map pick was Inferno. M80 started on defense, but couldn't replicate what FURIA did in the first map. The Brazilians took a 7-5 lead after their T side. M80 were quickly put to bed after a convincing CT half from FURIA, who took the series after their 13-7 triumph on Inferno.
Kaike "KSCERATO" Cerato was the match's best player, leading FURIA to a 2-0 victory with a magnificent 47-20 K/D ratio and 1.64 rating.
