EliGE: "I need to shape myself to be what the team needs"

After two years away, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski has returned to the Team Liquid roster, reuniting with Keith "NAF" Markovic and donning donning the jersey he wore for eight straight years.

Adapting to the styles and required roles in Complexity and FaZe was a tough process for EliGE, and while the Liquid brand is familiar to him, the current structure isn't. But as he told the organization in a recent interview, he's willing to do whatever it takes.

EliGE told Liquid that current coach Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea played a big role in his return to the team. EliGE said "just hearing about the structure on Liquid was really enticing," adding that it felt like they were speaking the same Counter-Strike."

"For my role," EliGE continued, "I'm going to see what I need to do on the team, because I think I need to shape myself to be what the team needs. So, if the team needs someone who's a louder voice, taking charge a little bit more, kind of how I was on Complexity, then I'll do that."

The Liquid interviewer also asked EliGE about playing entry, noting that the "big concern" about the team this year has been "the lack of a true entry fragger." EliGE said he likes being an aggressive player, and that he'd be able to "help bridge the gap between players who are naturally more passive."
