Liquid got their franchise player back

Official: Liquid sign EliGE

EliGE will debut at Birch Cup this Saturday.

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski is back on Liquid, the organization announced this Thursday, September 25th. The news had already leaked yesterday, as Liquid registered EliGE for the upcoming $10,000 Fragadelphia Blocktober next month.

EliGE will debut before that, though, as Liquid are also attending Birch Cup, a Polish LAN, this weekend. He'll fill the void left open by the departure of Russel "Twistzz" Van Dunkel to FaZe.

EliGE is no stranger to Liquid, having played eight years for the organization before joining Complexity in 2023. Throughout that first stint, EliGE helped Liquid lift many trophies, including ESL One Cologne, DreamHack Masters Dallas, and IEM Sydney in 2019, which culminated in Liquid winning the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 in just over two months.

Though EliGE and FaZe parted ways last month, the move had little to do with the rifler's form as he remains one of the best entry-fraggers in the scene.

Should everything go to plan and Liquid play enough matches between Birch Cup and FRAG Blocktober, they'll be able to utilize EliGE at the StarLadder Budapest Major at the end of the year.

Liquid now are:

  • Canada Keith "NAF" Markovic

  • Guy "NertZ" Iluz

  • Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak

  • Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek

  • United States Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski

  • Viktor "flashie" Tamás Bea (Coach)
