ESL Challenger League S50 Cup #2 day 10 recap: Wildcard advance to the finals over Getting Info
Wildcard have advanced to the grand finals of the second ESL Challenger League Season 50 Cup following a 2-1 victory over Getting Info in the Lower Bracket Final. The win sees Wildcard complete their lower bracket run after being knocked down by Getting Info in the Upper Bracket Semifinals, with the team needing to take down SkinRave and Getting Info to make their way to the finals. With this, two teams are left standing as Marsborne will take on Wildcard tonight.

The rematch between Wildcard and Getting Info kicked off on Ancient with Getting Info securing the map in a dominant fashion, winning their T-side 7-5 before putting on a perfect 6-0 CT-side to win their map pick with little with little trouble. Moving onto Wildcard's map pick, Overpass, it was a closely contested affair despite Getting Info climbing up to a 11-6 lead at one point. Despite this lead, Getting Info were unable to close the map out in regulation, forcing overtime where Wildcard claimed a close 16-14 win to extend the series onto a third map.
With the series tied up, Nuke began with Wildcard finally having a chance to dominate, beginning their CT-side up 6-1 at one point before winning the first half 8-4. In the second half, Wildcard were quick to find double digits with an 11-5 scoreline, however they crumbled amidst a great defense from Getting Info that saw the team climb up to a 12-11 scoreline before Wildcard finally figured out a winning play to force another overtime.
In this overtime, Wildcard and especially Love "phzy" Smidebrant made up for lost time by smashing Getting Info to take Nuke 16-13, thus winning the series and advancing to the grand finals.
