LAG defeat SportsBetExpert in the ESEA 54 Elite Cup 2 finals
LAG, or Life's A Game, emerged victorious over the SportsBetExpert roster in the finals of ESEA 54 Elite Cup 2 earning $1,750 in the process while took home $750. Additionally, both teams have earned spots in the first ECL Season 51 Cup next season.
Both teams went 2-0 in their respective groups, and both also won their quarterfinal and semifinal matches by a 2-0 scoreline before facing off in the final.
LAG struck first on Inferno, jumping out to an 8-4 lead on the T-side of their map pick, closing out the first map 13-7. SBE answered right back on Overpass, taking the second map 13-9 to force a third map on Ancient. The decider proved to be the closest, with LAG holding off a late comeback from SBE to win 13-11, powered by a 28-kill, 110.1 ADR game from Mason "mason" Watkins after a quiet first two maps.

The start of ECL Season 51 is still a long ways away, as Season 50 still has two more cups and its finals to play, with the season ending in mid-November. Wildcard and Marsborne will face off in the final of the second ECL S50 Cup later on today.
