VRS expert's latest model predicts Passion UA, Liquid are nearly guaranteed for Budapest Major

The latest models from Finn "Mischief" Farrer, self-described VRS expert and modeler extraordinaire, released on September 18th, suggest that Passion UA and Liquid are near-guaranteed to qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major when invites are sent out on October 6th. According to Mischief's projections, Passion UA currently sits at a 95.4% chance of making the Major while Liquid are "near guaranteed" after making the semifinals at FISSURE Playground #2.

With this, the two teams are expected to join NRG and M80 at the Hungarian, meaning three teams have qualified alongside Liquid's Keith "NAF" Markovic.

In less positive NA news, SkinRave and Wildcard have less than a 35% chance of making the Major while other NA hopefuls can effectively be written off with less than 4% chances of making the Major.

As such, while we can celebrate having three NA teams in the upcoming Major, it leaves the NA region with a measly share of 9% of spots in the upcoming Major.
