NiKo criticizes the state of CS2: "There is still a lot of work to be done"
Falcons' superstar Nikola "NiKo" Kovač discussed the state of CS2 in one of his latest livestreams, and he's unhappy with the lack of upgrades over time.
This is what NiKo said:
[The game] is better, but it's not much better. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done in this game. There are a lot of bugs still, a lot of, I don't know, dying behind walls. Obviously, I don't really face the cheaters, but I guess there's a huge issue with that as well.
There have been improvements, but not enough, considering the time they had. It's been two years now with no major changes, and it's a bit disappointing, to be honest.
Valve released CS2 worldwide on September 27th, 2023. Despite all the patches that Valve released over time, some pros still feel that the game is rough around the edges, especially in comparison to the final days of CS:GO.
NiKo isn't the only pro that complained about CS2 recently, as Robin "ropz" Kool said last month that the game is still unoptimized.
It remains to be seen if Valve will release a big patch near the second anniversary or if the developer will release more of the same.
