smooya to stand in for NIP at Fragville

Ninjas in Pyjamas will be without their AWPer, Artem "⁠r1nkle⁠" Moroz, as he will be missing out on the event due to visa issues. NIP have turned to British sniper Owen "smooya" Butterfield to take his place at the Tennessee event.

smooya has been playing for fish123 in recent times and has averaged a 1.2 rating over the past three months.

Ninjas in Pyjamas won Fragadelphia x LVL UP EXPO 2025, which is a major reason why they are so high in the VRS standings now. Their victory in Las Vegas helped them to secure invites IEM Cologne and BLAST Bounty Season 2.

They are currently on the outside looking in for the European Major slots. They will hope that strong performances at Fragville and the upcoming Frag Blocktober will propel them into Major qualification.
