Cxzi enters free agency: "I am looking for NA or EU options"

The 25-year-old won't be joining his former COL teammates in Passion UA.

Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk has become an unrestricted free agent after Complexity released him from his contract on August 19th. This comes after COL sold Johnny “JT” Theodosiou, Michael “Grim” Wince, Håkon “hallzerk” Fjærli, and Nick “nicx” Lee to Passion UA, and decided to leave the CS2 scene due to financial constraints.

Cxzi was picked up by Complexity at the start of 2025 and notably helped them to reach the semifinals of PGL Bucharest in April and to qualify for the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.

During his time with Complexity, Cxzi averaged a 0.97 3.0 rating after 84 maps played. The 25-year-old thanked Complexity for the opportunity to play in tier-one for the first time in his career, and is open to joining teams in North America or Europe.

"For the future, I am looking for NA or EU options," Cxzi wrote on X.

"My recent performance has me working harder than ever, as I know I have shown a good level before and will do what it takes to get back to it."

Meanwhile, Cxzi's old teammates are expected to make their Passion UA debut at DraculaN Season 1 on August 29th.
