ESL Impact NA Season 8's first qualifier went down this weekend, with nine teams vying for three spots in the main event.

The top three finishers in this qualifier will be joined by the top three in the next one to fill out the team list for ESL Impact League NA. Shimmer and FlyQuest RED have already earned their spots in the league thanks to VRS points.

Ghost faced NYX in the quarterfinals and dispatched of them 2-0, before facing Little Bocks in the semifinals and beating them 2-1, thanks to Mira "mira" Luna's 33 frags in the deciding map.

girl kissers had little trouble in the qualifier, defeating Akave and wwaves by a score of 2-0 in each matchup. The team, made of mostly former Nouns fe players, will be making a return to the Impact League after their sixth place finish last season.

wwaves earned their spot in the league by defeating Little Bocks in the third-place match. wwaves had no issue in the match, winning 13-5 and 13-3 behind Yana "sakura" Beresneva's dominating 44-18 performance.
