Liquid challenge FURIA in BLAST Bounty Round 2

Liquid have chosen to play v. FURIA in the second round of BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2. In the previous round, Liquid defeated Ecstatic in a close 2-0 while FURIA eliminated BIG by the same scoreline. Liquid have a $12,500 bounty on their head while FURIA are the owners of a $27,500 bounty.

G2 have gone for the big money and chosen to play Spirit in BLAST Bounty R2.

Liquid have been struggling recently, losing three of their last four games — including a loss to VP.Prodigy — and boasting only a 28% rate during the previous three months.

FURIA, on the other hand, are on the uptick after their 5th-6th place finish at IEM Cologne and winning four of their previous five matches.

This will also be the first time that former Liquid player Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis faces his former employer after the Latvian joined FURIA in April. YEKINDAR is experiencing a renaissance since joining the Brazilian org, putting up a solid 1.08 rating since joining FURIA.
