Complexity choke lead against HEROIC at BLAST Bounty Season 2
Complexity could have been the only team at BLAST Bounty Season 2 to claim their bounty in round one, but collapsed late against HEROIC on Overpass.
Complexity managed to secure their pick of Train, but HEROIC made them earn it. HEROIC's strong end to their CT-side followed by a successful T-side pistol resulted in Complexity trailing 9-5, but the NA side rallied and showed their poise with some close round wins. Nick "nicx" Lee closed out in the 24th round in entertaining fashion, throwing a molly onto the dropped bomb and running for the hills as time expired, securing the 13-11 win for Complexity.
HEROIC quickly evened the series on Mirage in a much more convincing fashion, winning nine of the first 10 rounds on their T-side and never letting their foot off the gas. Complexity had no answers on defense, and despite taking the T-side pistol, HEROIC quickly closed the door on them once the guns came out, winning the map 13-6.
Not deterred by the decisive loss, Complexity built an early lead on Overpass, but like on Train a number of the rounds really came down to the wire, and they let a couple of winnable rounds slip away and gave HEROIC a path back. Down 12-11 in the final round, despite having rifles against pistols and SMGs, Complexity's execute on A completely collapsed, resulting in a 13-11 loss and an elimination from the tournament.

The Complexity players appeared distraught on their player cams, with Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk burying his face in his hands before turning the camera off. After the game, Johnny "JT" Theodosiou told the broadcast that the loss was owed to a number of "individual mistakes."
