Thunderpick World Championship 2025 NA Series #2 Playoffs Day 1: M80 and Getting Info advance to semifinals
The playoffs of the second Thunderpick World Championship NA Series of 2025 have just begun after a GSL group stage, which saw two teams from two groups advance to the next stage.
In Group A, Marsborne and LAG beat out MIGHT and the now-dead Party Astronauts roster for spots in the playoffs. In Group B, it was Chicken Coop and Aether who advanced over Lycus Empire and Supernova Comets. M80, Getting Info, Wildcard, and NRG were invited directly to the playoffs thanks to their VRS rank.
Chicken Coop and Aether each finished at the top of their group and had to face M80 and Getting Info in the quarterfinals, respectively.

Chicken Coop
M80 started off their journey in Thunderpick with a resounding 2-0 win over Chicken Coop. M80's dominant first halves proved to be too much for their opponents. German duo Elias "s1n" Stein and Fritz "slaxz-" Dietrich showed their class, dropping over 30 kills to lead all players in the series.

Getting Info 2-0 Marsborne
Getting Info had a much harder time in the other series, as Marsborne were able to secure double-digits in both games. Getting Info still managed to squeak out a 2-0, led by Wyatt "snav" Phillippi's 47 frags across the two maps.
